Sitting on a quiet street, this beautifully renovated house enjoys views down the valley of rolling vineyards The house comprises three en-suite bedrooms, each sleeping two adults and two children could be accommodated in the gallery of one of the bedrooms Outside, the pigsty has been converted into an al fresco dining area and two ancient trees - a walnut and a horse chestnut - provide charming shade for a doze in the hammock or a swing on the rope.


Close by are two golf courses, many good restaurants, endless walks through vineyards, woods, or by the Dordogne River, wine tastings in countless chateaux and sophisticated towns like Bordeaux and Bergerac.



  • no animals, largely because the local dogs, whilst extremely friendly to humans, may not be so friendly to interloping animals

  • the owners’ suite would be private and NOT available

  • an indemnification document would have to be signed whereby the owners would be indemnified of any harm that might occur to guests during their stay

  • the contents of the pantry and any alcohol in the house would not be available

  • any requests made by the owners must be adhered to

  • while the house is in a very safe neighbourhood  the owners will not be responsible for loss of guests’ belongings or any damage to guests’ property      

  • it is a pre-requisite that the property, its contents and its immediate area are left in the condition that they were found.
